A month of marks – day two

I continue to collect inspiration and am using my camera to capture marks – the marks of time, marks of nature and marks of decay, even to marks of memory!

Over the years as a family we have collected shells and pebbles and pieces of driftwood from the beaches we’ve visited mostly the east neuk of Fife on Scotland’s east coast – these were usually  then placed in the garden. On Monday Jim and I were working in the garden and decided to have a real clear out, I collected all the family treasure together and here it is.  There are some amazing marks to see and colours too.  Do you see a colour palette emerging?
